Once activated, the Battery Protection feature prevents your home battery from draining when large energy consumers such as EV charging, a sauna, or other high-demand appliances are in use.
When unusually high consumption is detected, Battery Protection automatically activates and then deactivates again once consumption returns to normal levels.
How to activate the feature
You can enable Battery Protection in your site settings and choose a custom activation level that fits your household.
When this level is exceeded, the system protects your battery from unnecessary draining.

Examples
With Battery Protection
Your EMS detects high energy usage from large consumers and preserves the energy stored in your home battery. This ensures the battery remains available for critical use, such as during periods of high electricity prices.
Without Battery Protection
During high consumption periods (for example, EV charging or sauna use), the battery may fully drain. As a result, no stored energy is available
