Browser settings

Make sure that pop ups are allowed, so the secondary window can open up when linking the EMS device to your phone or laptop. Now, let's look at how to resolve this issue based on the browser you are using.

Allowing popup for Chrome

On Desktop (Windows/Mac)

  1. Open Chrome and click on the three-dot menu (⁝) in the top-right corner.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. On the left sidebar, select Privacy and security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Scroll down to Pop-ups and redirects.
  6. Under Default behavior, choose Sites can send pop-ups and use redirects to allow pop-ups for all websites.

Allow Pop-ups for a Specific Site:

  1. Follow steps 1-5 above.
  2. Under Customized behaviors, click Add next to Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects.
  3. Enter the website URL and click Add.

On Mobile (Android/iPhone)

  1. Open the Chrome app.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (⁝) in the top-right (Android) or bottom-right (iPhone).
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Scroll down and select Site settings.
  5. Tap Pop-ups and redirects.
  6. Toggle Pop-ups and redirects ON to allow them.

Allowing popup for Safari

On Mac (macOS): Allow Pop-ups in Safari

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Look at the top-left corner of your screen for the menu bar (the gray bar at the very top of your screen).
  • Click on Safari (next to the Apple logo ).
  • In the dropdown menu, select Settings.
  • Tip: If you don't see "Settings," you might be on an older macOS version where it's called Preferences. Both options open the same menu.
  1. Click the Websites tab.
  2. In the left sidebar, scroll down and select Pop-up Windows.
  3. On the right, you will see a list of currently open websites and a setting for "When visiting other websites."
  4. Change the setting to: "Allow" – to always allow pop-ups. "Block and Notify" – to allow pop-ups but get a notification first.

Allow Pop-ups for a Specific Site:

  1. Visit the website that requires pop-ups.
  2. Follow the steps above (Settings > Websites > Pop-up Windows).
  3. Locate the website under Configured Websites and change its setting to Allow.

On iPhone/iPad (iOS/iPadOS)

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Scroll down and tap Safari.
  3. Under the General section, find Block Pop-ups.
  4. Toggle it OFF (gray) to allow pop-ups.

Allowing popup for Opera

On Desktop (Windows/Mac)

  1. Open Opera.
  2. Click the Easy Setup (≡) menu in the top-right corner.
  3. Scroll down and click Go to full browser settings.
  4. In the left sidebar, click Privacy & security.
  5. Scroll down and click Site settings.
  6. Scroll further down and select Pop-ups and redirects.
  7. Toggle Blocked (recommended) OFF to allow all pop-ups.

Allow Pop-ups for a Specific Site:

  1. Follow steps 1-6 above.
  2. Under Allow, click Add.
  3. Enter the website URL and click Add.

On Mobile (Android/iPhone/iPad)

  1. Open the Opera app.
  2. Tap the Opera logo (O) at the bottom-right (iOS) or bottom-right (Android).
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Scroll down to Site settings.
  5. Tap Pop-ups and redirects.
  6. Toggle it ON to allow pop-ups.

Allowing popup for MS Edge

On Desktop (Windows/Mac)

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.
  2. Click the three-dot menu (⁝) in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. In the left sidebar, click Cookies and site permissions.
  5. Scroll down and click Pop-ups and redirects.
  6. Toggle Block (recommended) OFF to allow all pop-ups.

Allow Pop-ups for a Specific Site:

  1. Follow steps 1-5 above.
  2. Under Allow, click Add.
  3. Enter the website URL and click Add.

On Mobile (Android/iPhone/iPad)

  1. Open the Microsoft Edge app.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (⁝) at the bottom (iOS) or top-right (Android).
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Select Privacy and security.
  5. Tap Site permissions.
  6. Scroll down and tap Pop-ups and redirects.
  7. Toggle Pop-ups and redirects ON to allow pop-ups.
